Cyberbullying in the class
Have you ever had to deal with a student that was cyberbullied? Did you notice how lessons are less productive and when we have to cyberbully in the classroom? What can you do if they feel upset and unsafe and unengaged?
Cyberbullying is not a new concern, yet it remains prevalent in schools. There’s a new approach to dealing with this long-standing issue, which this seminar teaches. The potential harmfulness of cyberbullying is threatening because it can be more anonymous, more pervasive (reaching students not only in school but also at home), have a larger potential audience, and is less visible for teachers in the student environment.
Educators have two of the most powerful tools at their disposal: storytelling and visuals.
